SOLAR DECATHLON V

In October 2007 the house was moved to the national mall in Washington DC where it competed with 19 other universities from around the world. Illinois earned top honors in the Market Viability and Comfort Zone contests and placed ninth overall. Post Solar Decathlon the house was moved to the Chicago Center for Green Technology where it was open for tours surrounding the Greenbuild conference.
