SOLAR DECATHLON II

The objective of spring semester 2007 was to build on the design research and ideas from the fall and work through the design development process which included the construction of mock-ups and scale models. Final deliverables included construction drawings complete with material and finish specifications.

Spring semester 2007 included two exhibitions showcases the design phase of the project. The first was on the Illinois campus at Engineering Open House, which attracts more than 20,000 visitors to the Engineering campus annually. The second exhibition was held at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
